Typically takes around 60 minutes.

A slow, and calm introduction to myself and the unfamiliar surroundings within the grooming room. Your Puppy will also be introduced to some of the tools like clippers and dryers. This session allows your puppy to become accustomed to new noises, smells, and what to expect during the grooming process.

Welcome to The Groom Room
Hi there! My name is Maddie, and I am a professional dog groomer based in Lower Hutt, Wellington, NZ.
My purpose is to provide calm and patient one-on-one care for your furry friends.
The grooming process can be stressful and scary for a lot of dogs, which is why I pride myself on the level of care I give each dog that walks through my door.
I am happy to take longer to groom a dog if it means that the overall experience is better. I will not rush a groom. I believe there is no reason to cause more stress than necessary. My ability to read a dog's body language and behaviour allows me to adjust what I need to accordingly.
Grooming services I offer include; full grooms, basic grooms, small dog de-sheds, bath and blow dries, puppy introduction grooms, and more! (See extras & add-ons).
